This is a suspense/horror movie. A girl, its main character, sees her mother for the first time in years. Hearing a made-up story about “Chiteijin,” or underground people, from the mother, the girl is gradually getting absorbed in the fictitious story.

Hajime Obata completed a course at the Film School of Tokyo. In 2009, “The Big Gun” won the Jury’s Special Awards at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival 2009 and the 31th Pia Film Festival. He made his debut as a director with “Kaidan shin mimibukuro hyaku monogatari.” In 2012, “Henge” won the special award at the 16th Fantasia International Film Festival. In 2014, he directed “Kataribe”, and in 2015, worked on omnibus films and dramas including “ABCs of Death 2,” “Riaru onigokko rising” and “Kidan Hyakkei.” In 2016, he directed “EVIL IDOL SONG.”
