Maru, a girl who fled from a remote part of the Amazon to Japan, lives in the rooftop of a ruined building overgrown with weeds and trees. This is a fake documentary film that depicts the live of the girl, who cannot understand Japanese, from the viewpoint of a young man.

Hidetoshi Ito (Narration)
Born in Aomori, Japan in 1978. Studied at the Film School of Tokyo in 2002. In 2006, Satoko Yokohama directed her first full-length movie “Jaman + Ame.” This movie was shown at theaters across Japan, which is very rare for an independent movie, and then won the 2007 new face award of the Directors Guide of Japan. In 2008, she directed “Ultra miracle love story.” Kenichi Matsuyama, its leading actor, won the best actor award at the 64th Mainichi Film Awards. In 2016, “Haiyu Kameoka Takuji” was shown. Her other directed works include the TV drama “Byplayers.”
