'A Father's Day' is a short film of zombie genre, exploring the duality of the living and the dead in a post-apocalyptic world. Most zombie movies are the stories of the survivors who are trying to escape from zombies but in 'A Father's Day' zombies are the leading characters. In post-apocalyptic world where humans and zombies coexist, a father unexpectedly reunites with his daughter amongst the ruins of the world. He determines to make this day special, even if they are already dead.

Directer's Profile

Mat Johns studied Film and Television at Salford University in the UK and afterwards has been writing, directing, shooting and editing on a freelance and independent basis. Among his work, short film 'Kiss' has been selected for a number of high profile film festivals worldwide.
