Ryosuke, a video artist, visits Furano in Hokkaido for work and happens to see his first love Haruka for the first time in twenty years since they graduated high school. Haruka is now a married woman but Ryosuke asks her out to the video shooting. Haruka is bemused but decides to go along with him. Long-forgotten feeling of first love comes back gradually and they make up their mind to cross the forbidden line…

The Wind in Your Heart is filmed in Furano and Biei, Hokkaido, directed by Yun Suk Ho, who created sensation all over Japan with Korean TV drama Winter Sonata and thereafter has become a renowned master of Korean drama. From Winter Sonata staff, composer Lee Ji Soo also wrote beautiful music score for the movie. Yun and Lee joined forces again for The Wind in Your Heart, their first theatrical movie. Set in picturesque nature of Hokkaido, a story of forbidden love would again evoke audience a poignant emotion.

Directer's Profile

Born in Seoul in 1957, Yun Suk Ho has directed a number of TV dramas since 1990s. In particular, his ‘four-season series’, Autumn in My Heart (2000), Winter Sonata (2002), Summer Scent (2003), Spring Waltz (2006), became huge hits not only in Korea but also across Asia including Japan. As the passionate Winter Sonata boom had enveloped entire Japan, Yun has become a symbolic figure of Hanryu (Korean Wave).
